Check out the photo gallery for shots from Friday night’s showing against Dallas Lakehill Prep. The Cardinals hosted Lakehill Prep Friday night to kick-off their new varsity schedule. The Cardinals made a great showing as both teams went scoreless during the first half. However, a few run-away plays ended up costing our boys the game with a final score of 12-33. The boys played hard and came off the field with their heads high.

Player Spotlights Are Up!

- Boys make strong showing in scrimmage vs. Trenton. T. Bigbee, Dugger, Sc. Bigbee and Foster each had a TD. Cards outscored Trenton 4-3. #
- Varsity and JV Girls beat Yantis in straight sets. Varsity moves to 6-2 this season. Great job girls. #

The Cardinal’s second scrimmage was on Thursday, August 19th where they met Trenton again along with Krum High School at Krum. The boys continue to look good. The season looks to be a productive one. Tonight’s scrimmage was cut short due to lightning, but not before we got some decent photos to share. Check out the Photo Gallery here:

The new Photo Gallery page has been added to the website, complete with photos from the first full-contact scrimmage against Trenton. The boys played on Saturday. Standard scrimmage rules applied with about 30 or so offensive downs per team. Savoy scored 4 times, Trenton scored 3.

Also I might mention that we are still working on the Photo Roster page for the players. I am short three photos having the team complete. It will probably take a few more days to get the Photo Roster up. Hang in there guys, it’ll be cool when finished!
